How we helped DomainAppraisal.org provide their customers with a more professional and educational experience.
Domain Appraisal came to us asking for a complete redesign of their website. From the cheesy logo to the stock photography, their site was in dire need of some help. Their old website looked like a cheap website template.
However, this is not something that they wanted to convey to their visitors. They told us they wanted a more professional look and feel to their site. We decided to give them not only a professional feel that one could trust, but also a fresh, new and exciting.
Not only did we give them a new look at feel but more importantly we gave each and every one of their newly created pages a very solid focus. These changes ended up giving DomainAppraisal.org an increased website conversion rate.
As stated before, DomainAppraisal.org had a very cheap looking logo design and color scheme. We decided to change the logo by giving it a much cleaner look and feel. One that could speak to their visitors more closely and gain their trust.
DomainAppraisal.org gave us a chance to redesign their email templates as well. Their old email template design matched their old site look in design. The first change we made was to match it to the newly created web design.
Afterwards we decided to give the layout of the content itself a change. We wanted to make sure that their visitors could easily find the information that was necessary, without displaying any information that wasn't.
DomainAppraisal.org also needed a new shopping cart in order to maximize the effectiveness of the new company design. Since the nature of their purchase process was rather "different" than most e-commerce sites, we decided to build them a custom shopping cart from scratch.
We focused a lot of attention on making it easy for the visitor to determine which product was right for them, add the product to the cart, and checkout. After making these changes we were able to double their conversion ratio.
When building websites we pay very close attention to properly optimizing the site for search engine rankings. When this is done during the initial site creation it makes it much easier to make changes down the road. Not only that but it gives the site the best chance to rank right away.
Before we got our hands on DomainAppraisal.org's site, they were ranking on the first page for two of their most popular search terms. After we properly SEO'ed the site, they solidified the #3 position for the search term "Domain Appraisal" and #4 for the search term "Domain Name Appraisal".
