How we helped DirtyBirdySoap.com build a brand and presence that conveyed the ideals important to both the owners and the visitors.
We designed the dirty birdy site from scratch. They didn't have a website prior to meeting us. They informed us about their product and how they wanted to position it in the market. We then took this idea and designed their website to reflect a fun, trendy, and interesting place.
DirtyBirdy wanted their logo to be friendly, inviting, and catchy. We achieved this by starting out with the bird logo mark which was cartoonish in nature. We then chose a font that supported this theme. Both the client and their customers really like the logo.
DirtyBirdy also needed packaging for their soap. We decided to give the soap labels a natural feel. The paper that was used is very earthly as well.
DirtyBirdy's shopping cart was the most important part of the site. We wanted to make sure that the products were easy to find. So we created a listing page that contained all the different types of soap with an easy way to sort through the categories.
We also wanted to make sure the products themselves were easy to view and provided the visitor with the necessary information to make a purchase. We decided that the product pages should contain large photos of the soap along with a detailed descriptions of the soap.
After that we styled their shopping cart solution (Volusion) to match the look and feel of the rest of the site.
